Russia, Ukraine agree to let Russian 'aid' vehicles in - ICRC
FXStreet (Bali) - Ahead of Sunday's meeting between Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France Foreign Ministers, centered around the Ukraine-Russian conflict, with hopes for a political solution being distant, Reuters reported over the weekend that Ukraine would allow Russia 'aid' vehicles through.
The International Committee of the Red Cross, said via Reuters, that "Russian and Ukrainian borders guards and custom officials have agreed to proceed with the inspection of a first group of trucks from Russia’s humanitarian convoy."
Reuters added that "ICRC also said that it was still waiting to receive security guarantees from the fighting parties before to goes ahead and escorts the convoy into Eastern Ukraine..."
Reuters had some additional headlines, quoting the Ukrainian military spokesman Andrily Lysenko, as saying that "new military equipment has been seen coming into Ukraine from Russia including the three Grad missiles, 10 Russian drones had violated Ukraine airspace on 10 occasions..."
