Total of 17.2 trillion rupiah estimated to be shifted for COVID-19 response, said Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati on Wednesday.
Will shift all budget allocations from non-priority spending and delayed projects to respond to COVID-19 outbreak.
Budget's priorities are health care, social safety net and support for industries.
USD/IDR sits at the highest levels since October 2018 at 15,222.50 as the Emerging Market (EM) currencies remained pressured by the growing economic risks from the coronavirus outbreak.
