Canada FinMin Morneau: Brexit not a problem for Canada, will hit global economy
Canadian Finance Minister Bill Morneau was on the wires late-Wednesday, via Reuters, having spoken about the Brexit impact on the Canadian economy.
“We don’t see this as something that is directly problematic for the Canadian economy but obviously it’s something that it is difficult for the global economy.”
“We will continue to be a strong partner of the United Kingdom. Our goal will be to work with them when they get to the point in time when they are able to work with us on continuing a really strong trading relationship.”
