US: Number of job openings was little changed at 6.1 mln in September

"The number of job openings was little changed at 6.1 million on the last business day of September," the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Tuesday.

Over the month, hires and separations were also little changed at 5.3 million and 5.2 million, respectively.
