Germany: Industrial production to remain broadly stable in September - SocGen
For September, analysts at Societe Generale expect industrial production in Germany to have decreased slightly by 0.3% mom, following the stronger than expected expansion of 2.6% mom in August.
“Industrial production thus looks set to remain strong in 3Q with good momentum also going into 4Q. While the orders to inventory ratio has declined, manufacturing surveys remained at historical highs in October with no signs of any near-term slowdown. This also implies upside risks to our growth expectation of around 0.5% qoq in 2H17.”
