Important global data releases for the week – BNZ

Key Quotes

China: industrial production, retail sales fixed asset investment reports for October on Wednesday.

US: NFIB small business optimism Tuesday, then a hiatus until key retail sales and UoM consumer sentiment preliminary November survey, both Friday.

Japan: relatively quiet with machine orders and machine tool orders, final September industrial production and the BOJ’s Harada speaking.

Euro: Q3 GDP the main focus; eight ECB speeches scheduled including Draghi again.

UK: Monthly labour market report the highlight.”

Asian equities mostly lower, Shanghai back into positive

Asian equities are mostly in the negative today, following the lackluster end of trading in Wall Street, in which the S&P500 saw a 0.98% decline.
