German FinMin Schaeuble expects 1.8% GDP growth in 2015 and 2016

FXStreet (Córdoba) - German finance minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said the government expects economy to grow by 1.8% in real terms in 2015 and 2016.

However, he anticipates downside risks to Germany's economic outlook from a slowdown in emerging markets.

Dudley: A rate hike in 2015 is still possible

In an interview with CNBC, William C. Dudley, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, said that he thinks a rate hike is still likely in 2015. Dudley is voting member of the FOMC, added that the US economy is pretty strong but expected the weakness in the trade sector to continue next year.
