LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The daily inventory data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) today showed a decline in the inventory levels of Zinc. Meanwhile, the data showed a rise in the inventory levels of Nickel, Copper, and Aluminium.

Aluminium inventory increased by 6050 tonnes today, while Nickel inventory increased by 2892 tonnes.Lead inventory remained unchanged while Copper inventory increased 675 tonnes. Zinc inventory declined by 2350 tonnes.

UK retail sales - longest sustained growth since 2007.

Retail sales data released by the UK Office for National Statistics showed a continuing sustained period of year-on-year growth. In October 2014, the quantity bought in the retail industry increased by 4.3 period compared with October 2013, this is the nineteenth period of consecutive year-on-year growth.
