USD/CHF falls to test 0.9550

FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF broke below 0.9570 and dropped to 0.9554, reaching the lowest price since Monday but the rebounded and rose back above 0.9570. After Wall Street opening bell it was trading at 0.9575, less than 10 pips below yesterday's closing price.

USD/CHF tests weekly lows

The area around 0.9550/55 is an important short term support, currently being tested. If it breaks lower the pair would trade at three week lows, signaling a potential continuation of the retreated from 2014 highs, at 0.9740 (Nov 7 high).

Greenback has been able so far to defend the mentioned area but remains under pressure. To the upside, immediate resistance might lie at 0.9600 (daily high) and above here at 0.9620.

Silver to average USD 19/Oz this year – GMFS

The Gold Fields Mineral Services (GFMS), in its interim silver market review, predicts that spot silver will average USD 19/Oz, which is a 20% decline from the last year’s average.
