AUD/JPY retreats to 101.30

FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/JPY failed once agains to hold above 102.00 and pulled back. The pair is falling modestly on Wednesday, weakened by the aussie that is among the worst performers in the currency market.

AUD/JPY with support at 101.20/30

Yesterday the pair finished the American session testing 102.00 and reached levels on top but it was rejected. On Asian hours moved to the downside and bottomed during the European session at 101.31.

The area around 101.30 is the immediate support level to consider, that capped the decline yesterday and today; slightly below here, at 101.20 (Nov 17 low) there is another support, followed by 100.70/75 (Nov 14 low).

To the upside, immediate resistance lies at 101.80 (intraday level) and above here at 102.20 (Nov 18 high) and 102.40 (Nov 17 high).

Wall Street to open on a cautious note ahead of Fed minutes

The action in the US index futures indicates that Wall Street may once again start the day on a cautious note, as investors await the Federal Reserve (Fed) minutes.
