NZD/USD testing bids around 0.7660

FXStreet (Moscow) - NZD/USD  is under pressure as the pair started the day at 0.7689 and dipped towards 0.7660 during late Asian hours. Bearish dynamic is gaining traction

Kiwi heads for the third weekly decline in a row, in line with overall USD upside trend. Today in Asia New Zealand currency is driven mostly by technical and speculative factors as there are no interesting events in NZ that might have triggered the movement. NZD/USD is vulnerable to further decline in US Non-Farm Payroll report, published later today, supports the view that the FED might raise its policy rate rather sooner than later. From the technical point of view an important intraday support is seen at 0.7650, once it is broken, the downside may be extended towards 0.7500. The initial resistances comes at 0.7699/00 (Asian high)

Today's central pivot point can be found at 0.7707, with support below at 0.7654, 0.7615 and 0.7562, with resistance above at 0.7746, 0.7799 and 0.7838. Hourly Moving Averages are bearish, with the 200SMA bearish at 0.7806 and the daily 20EMA bearish at 0.7839. Hourly RSI is bearish at 35.
