DJIA gains 0.43%

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US Equity markets are trading higher after the official data released earlier today showed the US economy grew 3.5% in Q3, capping best six months in over a decade.

The DJIA is trading 0.53% higher at 17058 levels with an advance decline ratio of 8:22. Among the index stocks, Visa has gained 9.15%, while American express is trading 1.06% up. On the other hand, the top index losers include stocks like Intel, Microsoft, Chevron, which have lost 1% each.

Meanwhile, the S&P is trading flat at 1981.3 levels, while the NASDAQ has lost 0.17% to trade at 4083.70 levels.

DJIA Technical levels

The index has an immediate resistance at 17099 levels, above which the prices can rise to 17,161 levels.Meanwhile, the support is seen at 16,998 levels, under which the prices can fall to 16,898 levels.

EUR/USD climbs back above 1.2600

The US dollar is giving up some of its Fed inspired gains Thursday, with the release of better-than-expected US GDP revision giving only a short-lived boost to the currency.
