Flash: The dollar will get much stronger, but may be due for a pause - Societe Generale

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Societe Generale strategist Vincent Chaigneau believes that the dollar has a long way to go.

He feels that May 2013 will be remembered as the month Fed exit talk started to heat up and this proved fairly destructive for Treasuries and very bullish the dollar. he writes, “Indeed, over the past month the dollar has gained vs all G10 and major EM currencies. This, we think, is only a sneak preview of a broader move in H213. When the Fed actually takes the first step towards the exit – by tapering QE in September – expect an even bigger market repricing.”
