Wall Street rose with record closes again

FXStreet (Barcelona) - From the US stock market the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index made scores of its best week since 2013, with a diverse mix of companies rose on earnings news.

Companies such as Procter & Gamble Co and Microsoft gained 2.3 and 2.5 percent respectively and SodaStream International Ltd. (SODA) climbed up 15 percent. The Standard and Poor's 500 rose by 0.7% to finish up at 1,964.57 by close of business while the DJIA finished 16,805.41 and up 0.8 pct.

There are some nerves and uncertainty around the FOMC next week and it is not as clear as first thought as to whether the Fed will come conclusion that indeed it should end it’s cycle of QE just yet. Stocks have risen on that uncertainty with an outlook of further liquidity floating about for some time yet to come.

USD/JPY anchored on 108 handle

USD/JPY is trading at 108.05, up 0.20% on the day, having posted a daily high at 108.33 and low at 107.78.
