Nickel stocks rise

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The daily inventory data released by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a decline in the inventory levels of Aluminium, Lead and Zinc. The data also showed a rise in the inventory levels of Copper and Nickel.

Aluminium inventory continued its down trend, having declined by 5775 tonnes. Meanwhile, Zinc inventory declined by 2550 levels. Inventory level of Copper and Nickel rose by 500 tonnes and 4746 tonnes respectively.

Copper is trading at a more than one week high on LME ahead of the Euro zone Industrial Production data. Other metals are trading strong as well, with Nickel u 1% after China reported better-than-expected trade figures.

UK: Annual CPI growth slows down to 1.2% in September

According to data released today by National Statistics, UK annual inflation slid to 1.2% in September from 1.5% growth registered the previous month. This result is below analysts' forecasts of a slowdown to 1.4%. On a monthly basis CPI remained flat, after in increasing 0.4%, against expectations of +0.2%.
