US equities inch higher

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The US Equity markets are inching higher after a gap down opening which saw the DJIA post minor losses.

The DJIA has recovered from a low of 16,513 to trade 0.08% up at 16,558. Meanwhile, the S&P futures and the NASDAQ futures are trading 0.41% and 0.34% higher at 1902.45 and 3867.40 respectively. Moreover, a positive start of the US Equities should add to the already strong European equities.

No major data are due of the US today, hence the markets are likely to post minor gains.

WTI Crude tanks further, Option traders target $77.50 by Dec

The WTI Crude prices continue to fall towards a two and a half year low of USD 83.59/barrel hit during the last week. The prices are down 1.25% to trade at USD 84.75/barrel.

No rebound in oil price expected in the nearest future

Independent Analyst Malcolm Graham-Wood believes that unless China's oil demand remains strong and Opec discipline is restored, oil price will continue falling.
