AUD/NZD breaks above 1.1100

FXStreet (Córdoba) - Despite falling sharply against the US dollar, the aussie is rising significantly against the kiwi and trades at the strongest level in two weeks. AUD/NZD broke above 1.1105 (September 25 high) and jumped to 1.1142, hitting levels not seen since September 11.

After Wall Street opening bell pulled back, but found support above 1.1115. During the last hours it has been moving in ranges, between 1.1115 and 1.1140, consolidating weekly gains.

The pair is trading 150 pips above the level it had a week ago, posting a weekly gain after dropping almost 300 pips in the previous two weeks.
